We approach resiliency from a broad perspective that recognizes the importance of determining what actions are important to maintain to help the communities thrive and identifying strategic actions. Our framework includes four essential pillars: Internal Support, Resource Development, Partnership Development, and Marketing and Outreach. A strong, evidence-based program is the foundation for these pillars. WORKSHOP 3: MARKETING AND OUTREACH Marketing and Outreach are essential ingredients of a resilient, sustainable project. In this workshop, we will assess current activities and develop strategies for refining and expanding. Participants will: * Understand the importance of targeting the message to the intended audience. * Review current activities in this area, i.e. what types of outreach are you utilizing both externally and internally? * Assess the impact and identify the gaps. * Identify actions that can be taken within the next few months. (Note: We will ask participants to submit their materials prior to the event, so that we can review, comment, and use as examples.)
